The adidas Handball Spezial Sporty & Rich Brown upgrades the original Handball Spezial from 1979 with a primarily suede upper and a brown and gum colorway.

The base is brown suede with tonal suede overlays that give the sneaker a premium feel. White leather on the 3-Stripes logo and the heel tab breaks up the brown base and provides a contrast in texture. Brown laces wind through the eyelets and offer a secure front closure. Unlike other Handball Spezial models, the "Sporty & Rich Brown" version doesn’t display the traditional woven logo tag on the tongue. Instead, the tag is a thin, rectangular box with "sporty & rich" spelled in white letters.
